Bacterial Chemotaxis

A modeling project for bacterial chemotaxis. Four models have been implemented on E-Cell3, with reference to previously published models.

The chemotaxis system in Escherichia coli consists of a series of signal transduction pathways which respond to changes in the environment. As one of the most extensively studied signaling mechanism, the molecular structure of the chemotaxis pathway has been well characterized, enabling a number of analyses and model studies.

We have implemented four models to E-Cell 3 thus far. Models are available from here.
